The Dreamland Mural for a nursery in a private residence of San Marcos is the most special mural I have ever done so far. When you enter the room you are entering a different world. The whole room are clouds and each wall is telling it’s own story. Center piece is a cupcake mountain where a train goes around and leaps of into the air.

I did this mural for Gianelle, a little super cute girl who loves Minnie which is  a girly theme. Her mom decided that she should get Minnie Mouse on one of the walls in her room. The hand painted mural is the focal point of the girl’s room and will not be covered by a bed or anything else. It created an awesome effect: It makes the room seem much bigger!

Rainbow colors for a nursery, all around the room with  a blue ceiling, a very unusual idea but it gave the room a magic touch. The colors were fading from light into dark. Nursery murals are very popular and transform a simple room into a little paradise for the new born. This design would be also great for  a playroom or a girls bedroom.

You might think that murals for children’s rooms are expensive, and yes, it can become expensive when you want that every foot of the wall is filled with some mural art. But in general the murals for nurseries or kids rooms are quite affordable, and they last in general 3-8 years when done right.  Throughout the last years I worked with different budgets. Now, what is called an inexpensive wall mural? What amounts are we looking at when talking about a mural? In between $350 and $500 you can get a tree mural as shown on the picture below.
Trees are looking great in corners and if you like apples or blossom – that can be done as well. If you are on a budget you still can send me your ideas and we can talk about it.

a simple tree mural

The mural is all around the room plus on the ceiling with a sky. It was done for a boy’s room but it is not necessarily a typical boys mural.  If your child likes the ocean this theme is very nice. It is also great for play or game rooms and even on an outdoor wall it will create an effect.

Treasure Island mural with monkey and baby lion

Roses are growing in the corner of this nursery. Butterflies are flying around and the roses are even growing over to the door. The letters of the name are all hand painted and have  a 3D look.

This beach mural was done for a girl’s room on all walls and the ceiling. The red and white beach umbrella makes a nice contrast to the blue ocean. And by the way it is painted even you can sit under it- send an email if you like a mural like this for your child’s bedroom.
